PerkGlyph Product Benefits (“PerkGlyph”, “the app”) is a Shopify app that displays merchant-configured benefit bullets on product pages. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

We collect the minimum data required to operate the app:

• Shop data: the shop domain and Shopify access credentials needed to install the app and read or write the merchant’s bullet groups.
• Merchant configuration: bullet group names, icon choices, bullet text, default group selection, and product-specific assignment choices. This is stored as Shopify-hosted data connected to the merchant’s store.
• Session records: temporary technical session tokens stored in the app server so the embedded admin interface can function.

What we do not collect

• No shopper data, customer personal information, orders, or checkout data.
• No analytics, advertising identifiers, or behavioral tracking.
• No cookies beyond what Shopify’s own embedded-app session mechanism uses.

How we use data

We use the data above only to operate the app: rendering bullet groups in the Shopify admin and on the storefront, and managing group assignments. We do not sell, share, or monetize merchant or customer data.

Data retention and deletion

• Uninstalling the app deletes all locally stored session data.
• App-owned bullet groups and assignments are removed by Shopify when the app is uninstalled.
• PerkGlyph responds to Shopify’s mandatory data webhooks. Because PerkGlyph stores no customer data, customer redaction requests require no further action.

Security

• All traffic between Shopify and the app is encrypted with TLS.
• Access tokens are never logged in plain text.
• App secrets are stored in environment variables, not in the public code repository.
